Peter Wright

Peter was a top under 20 sabre fencer in the 1990s and became a member of the England senior team. He also had great success in the University of Bristol team which was unbeaten for six years.

Peter became the youngest ever British coach to hold a British Academy of Fencing and Acadamie D’Armes International Master’s Diploma in Sabre. To his credit, some of his former pupils have qualified for the England Home Internationals and Cadets and Junior World Championships. He is one of the principal coaches responsible for England’s “Tomorrow’s Achievers” programme for young sabre fencers.
